They had children: including Mrs. Audrian Cary, Martin, Mrs. Clebert Roberts, Carlos, Mrs. Lynne Jowers. Sidney I. Hatch survived Josie A. Kirksey in 1945. Sidney I. Hatch died on 15 March 1973 at age 94. He was buried New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.
