     Mary Griffith was born circa 1715. She married William Willett, son of Edward Willett and Tabitha Mills, circa 1737. Mary Griffith survived William Willett before February 1773. Mary Griffith married Richard Simmons, son of Jonathan Simmons and Elizabeth Isaac, on 7 March 1779 Upper Marlborough, Prince George's Co, MD. Mary Griffith survived Richard Simmons before 19 April 1785 MD; will proved. Mary Griffith died on 12 August 1792.

     Mary Riggs Griffith was born on 12 July 1816 MD. She married Samuel Owings Dorsey on 6 April 1837. Mary Riggs Griffith died on 24 October 1880 at age 64.
