     Daniel Dillard was born on 15 April 1786 NC. He married Leodica "Dicey" Dillard, daughter of Elisha Dillard and Mary Pope, on 16 May 1813 Smith Co, TN; Daniel and Dicey were first cousins. They had 7 children: Margaret, Patsey, Elisha, Mary, Nancy, Elizabeth P, Malvina. Daniel Dillard survived Leodica "Dicey" Dillard on 13 April 1855 nr Chestnut Mound, Smith Co, TN. Daniel Dillard married Frances "Fannie" Allison on 22 June 1855 Smith Co, TN. They had 8 children: Lucinda, John, Allidona, Daniel, Miles, Owin, Aaron, Milbrey. Daniel Dillard died on 15 April 1875 nr Chestnut Mound, Smith Co, TN, at age 89.

     Elisha Dillard was born circa 1760. He married Mary Pope on 10 May 1791 Chatham Co, NC. Elisha Dillard died circa 1843 Smith Co, TN.

     Elizabeth Dillingham was born in 1721. She married Joshua Simmons, son of Ebenezer Simmons and Lydia Kent, on 11 November 1742. Elizabeth Dillingham died on 18 July 1797.
