     John Brooke was born on 20 September 1640. He married Rebecca Isaack, daughter of Richard Isaacke and Elizabeth Sharpe. John Brooke died circa 1677.

     Robert Brooke was a planter and holder from 1650 of feudal grants in Maryland that made him lord of large sections of land throughout southern Maryland and "Commander" of Charles County. He served on the Provincial Council. Several generations of his descendants held provincial offices.

He was born on 3 June 1602 London, England. He married Mary Baker on 25 February 1627. They had 4 children: Baker, Mary, Thomas, Barbara .. Robert Brooke survived Mary Baker in 1634; probably as a complication in birth of her fourth child, Barbara. Robert Brooke married Mary Mainwaring, daughter of Roger Mainwaring D.D., on 11 May 1635 Battell, Sussex, England. They had 11 children: Charles, Roger, Robert, John (qv), Mary, William, Ann, Francis, Basil, Henry, Elizabeth.. Robert Brooke immigrated in June 1650; Arriving on the Patuxent in his own ship with his wife, eight sons and two daughters, 21 men servants and seven "maid servants". He patented several tracts of land including 2000 acre "De La Brooke" Manor in St Mary's County. That part of St. Mary's later became part of Calvert County.

He died on 20 July 1655 Brooke Place Manor, Calvert Co, MD, at age 53.

     Thomas Brooke was a barrister of the Inner Temple, London, he had been educated at New College, Oxford. He served in Parliament from Whitchurch, Hampshire from 1604 - 1611.

He was born in 1561 England. He married Susan Foster. They had 10 children: Thomas, Richard, Robert (qv), John, William Humphrey, Charles, Susan, Elizabeth, Frances .. Thomas Brooke died in 1612 Whitchurch, Hampshire, England.

     Col. Thomas Brooke was a prosperous planter and a long-time member of the Provincial Council, serving both before and after the Protestant insurgency. In 1720 he was acting Governor of the colony. He was one of only three officeholders who were third generation Marylanders.

     Maj. Thomas Brooke was a planter on extensive landholdings given or inherited from his father. He served as an officer (Captain, then Major) of the Calvert County Militia and at times held offices of Justice and High Sheriff. He was elected to the lower house of the Maryland Legislature and served several terms in Annapolis.

He was born on 23 June 1632 Battle, Sussex, England. He married Elinor Hatton, daughter of Richard Hatton and Margaret (?), in 1659 Calvert Co, MD. They had 7 children: Thomas (qv), Robert, Elinor, Mary, Ignatius, Matthew, Clement .. Maj. Thomas Brooke died in 1676 MD.

     Daniel Brouwer was born on 3 July 1719 NJ. He married Maria Koning on 10 October 1743 NJ. Daniel Brouwer died on 22 February 1791 KY at age 71.

     Leah Brouwer was born on 15 July 1744 NJ. She married Capt. James Stagg, son of Cornelius Stagg and Annetje Christie, on 13 October 1765 Schraalenburgh D.R. Church, NJ. They had 10 children: Leah, Abraham, Susanna, Daniel, Rachael, Johanes, Sara, Hebe, Mary, Daniel Jr.. Leah Brouwer died on 27 September 1810 at age 66.

     Adelle Brown was born on 22 September 1916. She married Charles Geiler. Adelle Brown died on 3 March 1992 Belleville, Saint Clair Co, IL, at age 75; last reported residence.

     Alice Brown was born on 2 December 1718 Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George's Co, MD. She married Francis Hardesty. Alice Brown survived Francis Hardesty. They had 7 children: Thomas, Frederick PL, Alice, Frances, Elizabeth, Susannah, Mark B.. Alice Brown married Lewis Duvall, son of Mareen Duvall "The Younger" and Elizabeth Jacob. Alice Brown died in 1811; will probated 12 Jul 1811 in Prince George's County.

     Charles William Brown was buried Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Madison Co, AL. He was born on 31 March 1920 Huntsville, Madison Co, AL. He married Ida Mae Walker on 2 March 1937 Huntsville, Madison Co, AL. Charles William Brown died on 14 May 1978 at age 58.

     Eliza Brown married Stephen West Jr, son of Stephen West and Mary Belk, on 5 January 1831.

     Joseph Brown was born. He married Ann (?) circa 1700 Prince George's Co, MD. They had 9 children: Sarah, Mary, Joseph (qv), Ellinor, Thomas (qv), John, Ursula, Elizabeth, Lucy.. Joseph Brown died before 19 April 1766; when widow Ann Isaac Brown bought a negro girl to "help take care of her in her old age".

     Joseph Brown Jr was born on 29 November 1704 Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George's Co, MD. He married Rebecca Simmons, daughter of Jonathan Simmons and Elizabeth Isaac, on 17 August 1727.

     Joshua Brown married Margaret Chew, daughter of William Chew and Martha Sydney Wynne, before 14 January 1722.

     Louisa J. Brown was born circa 1844. She married Caleb H. Watkins, son of Jeremiah Watkins, on 2 March 1863 Frederick Co, MD. Louisa J. Brown died before 1880.

     Martha C. Brown was born on 20 March 1834 Hardin Co, OH. She married John Cannon Douglass, son of Samuel Douglass and Rebecca Cannon, on 20 February 1862. They had 6 children: Samuel B (qv), Joseph B, Elizabeth Fay, Blanche Rebecca, Mary Alta, Laura Alice.. Martha C. Brown died on 4 March 1891 Lima, Allen Co, OH, at age 56.

     Mary Brown was often called Polly. She married John West, son of Stephen West and Mary Belk, circa 1821.

     Osmar Brown married Winnie Williams, daughter of John Douglas Williams and Lula Florence Davis.

     Prissilla Brown was born on 5 February 1694 Charles City Co. She married Justinian Justice II, son of Justinian Justice I, on 28 May 1718 Charles City Co, VA. Prissilla Brown died circa 1749 Charles City Co, VA.

     Rebecca Brown was born circa 1831. She married Basil Johnson. Rebecca Brown died circa 1901.

     Sallie Brown married Homer Allnutt, son of Aden Darby Allnutt and Martha Virginia Duvall, on 17 June 1927 Rockville, Montgomery Co, MD.

     Sarah Brown married Stephen Duke, son of Robert Duke and Priscilla Ann Crenshaw, on 7 December 1838 Upson Co, GA; No known ssue.

     Solomon P. Brown married Nancy Simmons, daughter of John Simmons and Rachel Bissell.

     Susanna Brown was born circa 1736 England. She married John Hawkins England. Susanna Brown died circa 1772.

     They had 6 or more children: Ignatius, Basil, Ruth, Mary, Thomasa, Anne .. Thomas Brown was born on 15 May 1709. He married Ann Brashear, daughter of Samuel Brashear and Ann Jones, on 20 February 1731 Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George's Co, MD. Thomas Brown died before 4 March 1793.
