     Christopher Lowndes was a ship builder and outfitter in Bladensburg, MD. He served at various times as town commissioner, first postmaster, and Justice of the Peace. He is said to have furnished cordage from his ropewalk to colonial ships in the Revolutionary War. He built in 1746 and resided in "Bostwick" with it's handsome terraced grounds, now a community facility at 3901 48th Street, Bladensburg.

     Ruth Marie Lund was born on 2 April 1948 Seattle, King Co, WA. She died circa 27 February 2001 Albuquerque, Barnalillo Co, AZ; Last seen alive 26 Feb 2001, her body was discovered 7 Mar 1001. It is thought that she would have contacted family members had she have been alive following the Nisqually earthquake on 28 Feb 2001.
