     John Franklin Reid was a farmer in Langley, VA on the property directly north of the Simpson land there. His family also owned "Bienvenue" estate in McLean, VA.

He was born on 9 March 1850. He married Elizabeth Anne Linn, daughter of Samuel Davis Linn and Catherine Winchester Young, on 15 December 1891. John Franklin Reid died on 3 August 1934 at age 84. He was buried Lewinsville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, McLean, Fairfax Co, VA.

     Christina Reidnaur was born on 2 July 1782 PA. She married George Glick, son of Johann Philip Glück and Susanna Bieber. Christina Reidnaur died on 23 March 1857 at age 74. She was buried Green Creek Cemetery, nr Fremont, Sandusky Co, OH.

     Alvina Marie Reinert was born on 9 October 1870 Winchester, WI. She married Albert Herman Draves, son of Ludwig Drews and Ernestine Wilhelmina Ulrich, on 2 April 1891 Winchester, Winnebago Co, WI. Alvina Marie Reinert died on 14 May 1954 Sioux Falls, SD, at age 83.

     Ferdinand Reinert was born in May 1869; as stated at 1900 census. He married Hedwig Wilhelmine Emma Trieglaff, daughter of Carl Friedrich Julius Trieglaff and Wilhelmina Ferdinant Malueg, on 26 March 1894 Grant Twp, Shawano Co, WI.

     Lydia Reinert was born in 1885. Her married name was Zellmer. She married Heinrich Friedrich Zellmer, son of Johann Ludwig Zellmer and Ulrike Wilhelmine Maria Mellenthin, on 19 June 1912 St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Winchester Twp., Winnebago Co, WI. Lydia Reinert died in 1950 WI.

     Rudolph Reisner was born on 25 June 1865 nr Appleton, WI. He married Emma Mathilda Caroline Klug, daughter of Carl Gottlib Helmuth Klug and Anna Emelia Zellmer, on 13 March 1901 Tigerton, Shawano Co, WI. Rudolph Reisner died on 9 August 1950 Faulkton, Faulk Co, SD, at age 85.

     Lula Mae Renfra married Jim Gooch, son of Will L. Gooch and Lenora F. Wall.

     Barent Reynerson was often called Barney. He was born on 2 October 1756 Six Mile Run, Somerset Co, NJ. He married Sarah Thornell circa June 1778. They had 3 children: Elsye, Cetie, Barant.. Barent Reynerson married Antie Banta, daughter of Henrick Banta and Antjie Demarest, on 6 June 1786 Lincoln Co, KY. They had 14 children: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Samuel, Henry, Peter, Christopher, Rachael, Mary, Sarah, Ann, Charity, Jane, Deana, John.. Barent Reynerson died on 15 March 1819 Mercer Co, KY, at age 62.

     Mary Reynerson was born on 16 September 1797 Strabben Twp, York Co, PA. She married James Dunn Stagg, son of Daniel Stagg and Mary Conover, on 1 October 1818 Mercer Co, KY. They had 8 children: Mary Ann, Catherine, Nancy A, James B, Phillip D, William H, Elizabeth F, Martha J.. Mary Reynerson died in September 1849 IN; Dysentary.

     Jeremiah Reynolds married Susannah Chamness, daughter of Anthony Chamness and Sarah Cole, on 15 May 1755 New Garden MM, Orange Co, NC.

     Eva Christina Rheinfrank was born on 13 May 1861 Piketon, Pike Co, OH. She married Zerah Wilbur Cole, son of Rev. Shadrack B. Cole and Nancy Miller, on 6 November 1884. Eva Christina Rheinfrank died on 10 September 1889 at age 28.

     Ida Margaret Rheinfrank was born on 9 May 1868 Piketon, Pike Co, OH. She married Zerah Wilbur Cole, son of Rev. Shadrack B. Cole and Nancy Miller, on 9 March 1892 Mynard, Cass Co, NE. Ida Margaret Rheinfrank died on 27 July 1960 at age 92.

     Col. Thomas Ricards was a soldier in the service of Charles I, Thomas is said to have been killed during one of the sieges of Lichfield.

He was born circa 1595 Herefordshire, England. He married Elizabeth Rugeley circa 1617 Rugely, Staffordshire, England. Col. Thomas Ricards died circa 1646; at Lichfield, Hampshire in support of royalist cause against parlimentarians.

     Capt. William Henry Ricards was a captain in Cromwell's army, he fought against the Spanish in Jamaica in 1655 as part of the Penn and Venables Caribbean Expedition and later commanded a fort at Bluefields there. His commission is said to have been drawn in the name of Ricketts, and his family adopted the new spelling. He and his family apparently established plantation landholdings there near present-day Elizabeth Town that were later partly operated by his son, George.

He left Jamaica about 1658 but probably spent some time there later. He is said to have "come to the colonies" from Jamaica. Some researchers believe that he settled about 1665 near present-day Elkton in Cecil County Maryland on a large land grant but that he also held property in New Jersey and in the city of New York.

He was also known as Ricketts. He was born circa 1618 England. He married Mary Goodin circa 1681. They had perhaps 8 children: including John Thomas, George (qv) and others. Capt. William Henry Ricards died before 3 June 1700 St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.

     Mary J. Rice was born circa 1847; based on age stated as 33 yrs at 1880 census. She married James Boyd Douglass, son of Samuel Douglass and Rebecca Cannon.

     Maude Rice was born on 3 September 1886 Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, OH. She married Earl Venner Cole, son of Shadrack Olin Cole and Caroline Cook, on 11 June 1953 Luma Beach, CA. Maude Rice died on 13 January 1974 Ogalalla, Keith Co, NE, at age 87.

     Millicent Rice was born circa 1775. She married Joseph Bartlett circa 1795 TN. Millicent Rice died circa 1845.

     Silence Rice married Allen Simmons, son of Reuben Simmons and Sarah Lincoln, on 22 September 1781.

     Alexander Richards married Malinda Gamble.

     Louisa Jane Richards was born on 26 October 1836 Macon Co, GA. She married William Francis Cook, son of Francis Cook and Margaret Milligan Ellison, on 16 December 1857. Louisa Jane Richards died on 11 July 1898 Newnan, Coweta Co, GA, at age 61.

     William Richards married Hannah Simmons, daughter of Benjamin Simmons and Priscilla Delano, on 7 September 1738.

     Frank Richardson married Margaret Moore, daughter of John Thomas Moore M.D. and Dorcus Pennock.

     Mary Richardson married Thomas Cole, son of John Cole and Johanna Garrett. Mary Richardson died on 9 March 1717/18.

     Marie Richford was also known as Mary. She was born circa 1628. She married Benois Brasseur circa 1645 VA. They had 8 children: Robert (qv), Benjamin, John, Anne, Susannah (qv), Mary, Martha, Elizabeth.. Marie Richford died after 25 May 1663; Will written.

     Anna Richmond married William Simmons, son of Isaac Simmons and Mary Church.

     Mary Richmond married Ephriam Simmons, son of Joseph Simmons and Rebecca Wood, on 11 September 1777.

     Columbia Etna Richter was born on 9 October 1875. She married Horace Wilson Bennett, son of Richard Henry Bennett and Savilla Miller, after March 1894. Columbia Etna Richter died on 13 May 1929 at age 53. She was buried Presbyterian Church, Neelsville, Montgomery Co, MD.
